General goal

General goal is to equip staff from Ukrainian higher education institutions with essential competencies in the management of internationalisation processes, with a particular focus on the strategic use of micro-credentials.

MInT‑Ukraine addresses the urgent need for flexible education models for fostering international cooperation within networks and upskilling in the relevant educational fields.

Key Tasks

Participants of the programme will:

  • enhance their knowledge of the internationalisation of universities, including relevant strategies, management, implementation, and methods for promotion on a global stage;
  • gain a comprehensive understanding of micro-credentials as a flexible and inclusive educational tool that fosters lifelong learning and international cooperation, distinguishing them from traditional degree programmes;
  • understand and apply legal frameworks for the quality assurance and recognition of micro-credentials;
  • acquire essential project management skills to plan and implement projects, taking stakeholder perspectives into account;
  • apply the concepts learned in practical projects at home institutions, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and exchanging best practices.

Expected Results

  • Expanded competencies in international activities and management of internationalisation.
  • Systematic understanding of micro-credentials and their application.
  • Development and implementation of an Individual University Project at their home institution.
  • Obtaining a certificate from Leibniz University Hannover and 10 ECTS credits upon completion of the programme.
