Odesа Polytechnic National University and the University of Portsmouth presented the results of many joint projects at the first session of the open online Roadshow. This event became necessary for universities and cooperation between Ukraine and Great Britain.
As part of the UK-Ukraine twinning grants scheme, which is under the leadership of the Cormack Consultancy Group and received support from the Education, Science and Sports Fund of the President of Ukraine and Universities UK International, scientists from Odesа Polytechnic National University and the University of Portsmouth joined forces to implement 12 projects aimed at solving important research and innovation tasks. These projects reflect the interests and needs of both countries, particularly in science, technology and social development.
Participation in the UK-Ukraine twinning grants scheme shows the intention of British partners to continue supporting Ukrainian education and science in this challenging time. This support helps preserve the integrity and development of the education system in Ukraine and promotes joint efforts in essential areas.
Odesа Polytechnic National University and the University of Portsmouth have also announced plans for the future. During 2023, they plan to implement another 26 joint projects, which will cover various aspects of cultural, social and technical activities in the conditions of external aggression. It testifies to the deep partnership and mutual commitment of these two outstanding universities to the further development of cooperation and joint introduction of essential changes in the modern world.
