From September 23 to October 4, 2024, faculty members of the Department of Public Administration and Governance at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Economics and Management of Odesa Polytechnic successfully completed an international professional development course titled "Sharing Experience in Planning the Development and Renewal of Ukrainian Cities." The course was hosted by the Masaryk Institute for Advanced Studies at the Czech Technical University in Prague.

This course was part of the large-scale international project 24-PKVV-UM-001 "Capacity Building and Knowledge Transfer to Universities for the Development of Affected Areas in Ukraine," funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.

The program included innovative lectures, training games, practical case studies, and teamwork. The culmination of the course involved participants presenting strategies for the post-war recovery of cities, regions, and recreational areas, demonstrating a high level of engagement with current global challenges.

For Odesa Polytechnic, this is not only another step in strengthening international collaboration but also a significant contribution to enhancing the quality of the educational process. The acquired knowledge and experience will be integrated into the department’s academic programs, fostering the training of a new generation of professionals capable of effectively addressing the challenges of recovery and development in Ukrainian territories.

Participation in such initiatives reaffirms Odesa Polytechnic’s leading role in shaping Ukraine’s educational and scientific potential, aimed at overcoming the consequences of war and building sustainable development models.
