Project is called “Smart-bus stop” and foresees free usage of urban passenger transport for people with sight disabilities via loudspeakers installation on bus stops. Field of application – urban passenger transport (UPT); social improvements.
Main advantages:
– easing for people with sight disabilities to use UPT;
– variety of realization (4 options were proposed) depending on budget and objectives.
Additional:
– possibility to broadcast advertisement;
– mitigates risk in lack of exposure to innovation in transport sphere from the population side;
– implemented system in the future can be integrated in mobile application, which can be complemented by information about traffic jams (to replace Yandex Maps), schemes for possible changes, etc;
– allows to coordinate actions of people by emergencies.
