The research is focused on use of the heat energy given out by high-temperature gases emitted by the CDU / VDU, for the purpose of recuperative heat exchange in the new additional heat exchangers. Installation of compression facilities after a preflash tower of a petroleum preflashing unit and an atmospheric flash tower of a VDU at an oil refinery.
Performance improvement for the process of primary crude oil distillation by way of decrease of a temperature drop between hot and cold process streams for account of optimization of the heat- transfer surfaces between them, changes in the structure of the power-generating equipment, and reduction of pressure in the towers of the CDU / VDU to intensify fractionation.
