On April 30, 2026, an event called the “General Assembly Meeting of the NEXT project” was held, which was organized in a hybrid format — in the city of Bratislava, Slovakia, and online. All European and Ukrainian project partners took part in the event. From the Odesa Polytechnic National University, the project coordinator, head of the Youth innovation center "Polin" Mykhailo LEBID and the project financial manager, head of the Marketing and innovation policy department named after Valerii Lebid, Nataliia LEBID participated in the online format.
The event was dedicated to discussing the current status of the project implementation, the implementation of planned results, testing educational materials, creating laboratories and preparing reports. According to the agenda, special attention was paid to the financial status of the project, organizing a student competition, issues of ensuring the quality of the project, student events and the development of the educational platform.
Also, during the meeting, representatives of partner universities discussed the testing of educational materials. The partners agreed on the need to unify the testing methodology, revise the questionnaire for collecting feedback and formalize the procedure for receiving feedback from participants in the educational process.
A list of the next project tasks, responsible partners and deadlines was also recorded. For Odesa Polytechnic, the key immediate result is the preparation of a report from the work package WP006, D6.1 Report on the establishment of the NEXT-Network core, the deadline for which is June 30, 2026.
Participation in the General Assembly Meeting allowed all project partners to agree on further steps, clarify responsibility for the results and confirm the readiness of Ukrainian universities to continue the project implementation within the established deadlines.
