HOW WE TEACH
Training Programs
The Institute of Computer Systems provides training for IT specialists and professional training of specialists at all qualification levels in the field of computer science and computing in more than 20 modern, in-demand areas. We teach students according to education programs agreed upon with foreign partners, which meet European quality standards in higher education.
Practice
The Institute of Computer Systems actively develops partnerships in education and science with domestic and foreign IT companies to provide practical activities for students and teachers. In the third and fourth years, bachelor's students undergo industrial and pre-graduation internships at leading IT companies that are partners of the Institute of Computer Systems, such as Luxoft, Sigma, Netcracker, Intel, Eclipse SP, Exigen Services, DataArt, and others. Competitions and Olympiads in programming, robotics, game design are actively supported, and each academic year ends with summer schools. This type of education was introduced in cooperation with foreign universities, for which the organization of summer schools is a traditional practice and has proven to be an effective tool in training high-class specialists. The Institute of Computer Systems works with venture funds and supports the startup movement. Our students have created 5 successful startups with significant funding.

The Institute of Computer Systems actively cooperates with foreign universities, including universities in Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, and Spain, enabling the organization of international conferences, joint projects, and summer schools, obtaining dual degrees, and participation in international mobility programs. Dual education and internships in leading IT companies are provided to ensure practical and scientific activities of students and teachers. Partner companies include Netcracker, Luxoft Ukraine, UA Linux, Intel Ukraine, Microsoft Ukraine, Exigen Services, Sigma Ukraine, Ukrtelecom, InfoMir Group, DataArt, Ciklum, SoftTechnics, Provectus IT, Senturia, NetPeak, and others. The Institute of Computer Systems implements ERASMUS+ projects - programs funded by the European Union aimed at supporting the processes of modernization of higher education in partner countries from Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Western Balkans, and the Mediterranean. By supporting and developing cooperation, the ERASMUS+ program directs its efforts to reform and modernize higher education in partner countries.

The Institute of Computer Systems provides project-oriented education that combines theory and practical experience, ensures experience in international teams. Our partner companies provide sponsorship support in ensuring the quality of the educational process. Joint project and research work are also carried out. Training laboratories and centers such as "IT-Incubator," NetCracker, Cisco Systems, Luxoft, "IT-SEA," INCCA, "Innotech," "CITIS-Polytech," P-Navigator, and the center of partnership with enterprises operate on the basis of the Institute.

International Academic Mobility
For students of the Institute of Computer Systems, there are countless opportunities to participate in international educational programs. This allows gaining valuable practical experience and knowledge, as well as obtaining a dual degree at a European partner university of the Institute of Computer Systems according to signed bilateral agreements. In addition, continuous language training is provided – German, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, and Slovak.
