WHO WE PREPARE

The institute prepares specialists necessary for nuclear and thermal power engineering, energy departments of industrial enterprises and municipal heat power engineering, researchers and developers in the field of nuclear technologies, power engineering, as well as specialists in automation and energy equipment management.

Energy plays an extremely important role in the viability of all industrial sectors, agriculture, and population life support systems. Highly qualified energy personnel are the key to the effective and reliable operation of the industry, its reconstruction, and development at the level of the best world achievements.

Our graduates work successfully as leading specialists at nuclear and thermal power plants, other industrial enterprises, in research and design institutes, design bureaus, as well as energy auditors and inspectors in the energy sector, provide consulting and engineering services.

WHY IS THIS ACTUAL

Energy is the most important sector for our country and other countries in the world. Without its reliable and efficient functioning, the development, and even the existence of any modern society, the operation of industry, agriculture, and the provision of decent living conditions are impossible.

The basis of energy consists of nuclear and thermal power plants, which produce over 90% of electricity. Heat supply is provided by heat and power plants, large modern boilers, as well as local heat generating systems.

These facilities need to be designed, commissioned, operated, and serviced. And it is for this purpose that we train our graduates. Due to the constant demand for energy specialists, graduates of the institute are guaranteed employment in their field, and career growth prospects are virtually unlimited - among our graduates are energy ministers, directors of major thermal and nuclear power plants.

Classrooms

The institute's classrooms are equipped with modern information and communication equipment using interactive technologies. Technical solutions for equipping classrooms are often unique. Equipping classrooms is carried out with maximum consideration of the interior features of the premises and depends on the requirements for functionality and the specifics of a particular classroom.

Laboratories

The institute's educational laboratories are equipped with a complex of special modern equipment for conducting laboratory work, technical and scientific-experimental research. The equipment of our modern laboratories is carried out with the support of such leading firms as VIESSMANN, DANFOSS, KAN, REHAU, GREE, and others.

Practice

The institute effectively cooperates with nuclear and thermal power plants, operating industrial enterprises, where our students have the opportunity to gain practical skills in selected specialties.

Mobility

Educational programs provide for the possibility of students participating in academic mobility programs abroad for one semester. This is implemented with the appropriate language preparation. Thanks to this, our students have the opportunity to receive additional education in higher educational institutions in Poland, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Turkey.
